Role : Java Solutions Architect (15+ Years)

Location: 1221 Sixth Avenue (midtown), NYC.

3 days a week onsite. Candidate must be local to the New York City area.Candidate must have strong financial industry background and 15+ years of experience.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field requiredAt least 15+ years of experience designing and developing multi-tier technology solutions and integrated applicationsAdvanced-level experience designing microservice based platformsHigh quality software architecture and design methodologies and patternsStrong SQL skills with commensurate experience in a large database platformsComplete SDLC process and Agile Methodology (Scrum)Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong communication skills both verbal and written. Capable of collaborating effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups, across regions and different rolesGood customer service skills. Ability to deal with difficult situations/individuals gracefully

Skills Desired:Experience developing Java applications that utilize Camunda BPMN a plusExperience Python or Scala programming a plusExperience with Apache Kafka a plusExperience with Apache Airflow for scheduling / job orchestration a plusExperience with developing applications on Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure a plusExperience with Cloud Data Platforms like Snowflake or Databricks a plusExperience in development on other application types (Web applications, batch, or streaming)
