About the Role/Overview

Position: Java UI Developer

Project Location: New York, NY COVIDDuration: Fulltime

Job Responsibilities
  • 5 7 years of hands on professional experience in o JAVA o Angular
  • Web services experience
  • DB2

Desired Skills
  • LINUX UNIX Scripting UI GIT Eclipse Exstream OTX and related frameworks
  • 5 7 years hands on experience creating consuming web services and data Web
  • Experience with distributed architecture including web services technologies Relational databases
  • Experience writing data queries in SQL
  • Working experience with Database design and data analysis Problem solving and design o Solid understanding and experience with Object Oriented design and enterprise design patterns
  • The ability to write reusable optimized and maintainable code that is well documented and follows industry standard best practices Agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Agile tooling such as JIRA or other ALM tools
  • Practiced understanding of Agile development methodologies understanding of DevOps Integration Organizational
  • Experience of working with geographically dispersed teams across different time zones
  • Good communication and presentation skills ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner across all stakeholder groups and with staff from junior to senior levels Skills
  • Desired Prior work experience with cloud based applications a plus Knowledge of Financial markets lending based products Wealth Management is highly desirable
