Job title: Application Support Specialist Location: Manhattan, NYHybrid Duration: Long term Skills: Control-M experience, scripting languages (Perl a plus), software upgrade and release Application Support Specialist: making sure applications are running smoothly by identifying problems and deploying the solutions. Partner with development teams on bug escalation till remediation, and production fixes or new code releases. Manage security vulnerability by supporting application/system owners to remediate vulnerabilities. Familiar with IT management framework: Incident/Problem management. Essential duties and responsibilities: Responsibility: 1. Provide level 1 and level 2 support for IT and end-users 2. Integrate corporate and capital markets applications 3. Perform technical and non-technical risk and vulnerability assessment 4. Coordinate with local and head office development teams to release applications in non-prod and prod environments 6. Develop and maintain tools to enhance the end-user service level and facilitate support tasks 7. Write and update information system documentation and procedures Education: Engineering school or university degree specialized in IT, prefers with previous experience in an IT team of an investment bank. General: Good communication skills in English. Good overall technical knowledge and experience with finance and banking systems. Responsible to apply Company'ssecurity policy.
