Jr CCNA candidates would work Network Operations is part of Global Technology Infrastructure department and is responsible for managing the global network and security infrastructure. The team performs multiple operational, project and engineering aspects in routing, load balancing, monitoring, and optimizing the network.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • 1st/2nd line technical support & incident management, monitoring for circuits and hardware. Report and track carrier issues, hardware RMA’s etc.
  • Operational network maintenance activities and low-level changes (as scheduled by Service Assurance & Engineering teams)
  • Monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts. Tuning & optimization for monitoring systems
  • Assist with root cause analysis for high profile incidents
  • Assist with periodic network reviews and analysis (as scheduled by Service Assurance & Engineering teams)
  • Assist with the establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
  • Review, track and update network operations policies, standards, and documentation
  • Assist with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration, and tuning
  • Daily network checks and operational handover duties
  • First level of support for network issues and outages
  • Expected to be familiar with Change management and Incident management process and priorities
  • Assist with low complex service requests related to different technologies in use

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE• 3+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure operations/support role• Knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and protocols• Experience with various Cisco equipment (routers, switches)• Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers and WAN accelerators a plus• Basic understanding of IP telecommunications technologies• Scripting and Programming skills highly desirable• Formal network qualification such as CCNA is desirable• Excellent relationship building and communication and documentation skills• Flexible and able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast pace environment• Desire to learn and grow with the organization
