Junior Full Stack Developer

Full Time Opportunity

New York, NYRole OverviewWe are seeking a Junior Full-Stack (JFSD) developer with NetSuite experience to join our growing technical team. Candidate will develop application code under the direction of a senior engineer to meet business and technical requirements. The JFSD must demonstrate the ability to efficiently write application code. The JFSD will also maintain and patch systems, software, and applications to eliminate bug fixes, security vulnerabilities and maintain technology currency of systems and applications. Vision for this role: Successful candidates will have an opportunity to manage our NetSuite integrations while updating and maintaining our software. Prior NetSuite experience is a plus. Key technologies: Javascript, React, and UI Skills Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise to users, company employees, contractors, suppliers, or customers
  • Support data and/or related systems integration projects across the company business domain and specific to NetSuite
  • Perform integrity testing of system upgrades and development releases prior to migration to production
  • Perform hands-on coding work on projects as needed
  • Document business objectives, use cases, business requirements, system specifications, workflows, and process documentation
  • Fill functional lead or system expert roles on production and sandbox NetSuite environments and related systems
  • Develop and maintain workflows and processes to optimize the platform integration with NetSuite
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and operational reports to provide insight for teams, managers, and executives
  • Evaluate current state, research, and implement effective solution designs to achieve defined business or process objectives
  • Work with team members to ensure meet technical specifications and due dates according to Road Map and company commitments
  • Periodically perform code reviews
  • Complete additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience with Javascript
  • At least 2 years' experience with the day-to-day technical management of the NetSuite ERP Development
  • Experience using forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within the ERP system
  • Proficiency building RESTful interfaces using Java (REST/JSON)
  • Basic SQL experience
  • Ability to do independent technical work
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency with saved searches, formulas, reporting creating dashboards, creating custom forms, and creating workflows
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems quickly, and work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
