The CIO Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) and Asset Backed Securities (ABS) Portfolio Management team within TCIO is looking for an Associate or Analyst in its New York City office. The team is responsible for managing the CLO/ABS portion of the Firm's investment portfolio.Job Responsibilities :

Identify value and risk in the CLO/ABS bond markets, and support senior Portfolio Managers in formulating investment strategies

Credit and relative value analysis of potential new investments and surveillance of existing bond portfolio

Trade execution and portfolio analytics

Build and maintain relationships with Wall Street trading counterparties

Work with other internal functions (Finance, Risk, Middle Office, etc.) on initiatives related to the portfolio

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

One to four years of experience in a finance field, preferably related to fixed income. Direct experience in CLO and/or ABS trading, banking, or strategy/research is helpful but not required

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, along with an ability to collaborate well with others in a team environment

Self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to dive into details and dig deep into data

Understanding of core fixed income concepts

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Proficiency with Bloomberg, Excel/VBA, PowerPoint

Python encouraged
