This is an immediate need for a long term contract position (60 months) in Albany, NY. This role requires some on site work, candidates should be local or willing to relocate.

Duties/Responsibilities:Lead team of BAs in client focused business analysis activities, following the iterative SDLC framework, and leveraging the project defined toolkit, processes and best practices, including:

  • Manage team of BAs and assignments,
  • Act as liaison between internal teams (examples: PMO, Business (BA, QA, OCM, Training), Technical and Operations teams, including system integrators (SIs)) and external stakeholders (examples: NYS agencies and Social Service Districts),
  • Lead team of BAs in As-Is business process and legacy system rules extraction identification, analysis, documentation and validation,
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings and working sessions,
  • Work directly with Subject Matter Experts to lead and conduct requirements gathering
  • Assist system integrators in To-Be requirements analysis, design and implementation tasks,
  • The consultant is expected to travel during this engagement. Travel may range from 10-25% of the consultant's time depending on the consultant's work assignments. Travel will occur throughout New York State and may involve several overnight stays depending on the location and the work required; length and mode of travel will vary depending on the work assignment.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Business Analyst
  • More than seven (7) years of experience managing a team of BAs and their assignments executing in an iterative/agile methodology.
  • More than seven (7) years of experience working on enterprise level software development projects, actively working with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. SMEs, vendors, users, PMs, technicians, quality analysts, organizational change management and training teams) across multiple organizations.

    • Desirable Qualifications:
  • More than four (4) years child support domain experience.
  • More than seven (7) years of experience identifying, documenting, and validating system requirements on a modernization project.
  • More than seven (7) years of experience identifying, analyzing, documenting and validating As-Is and To-Be business process, requirements and business rules.
  • Experience curating and disposing of As-Is system business rules for To-Be system consideration.
  • Experience working in a requirements management tool, similar to Blueprint.
  • More than seven (7) years of experience facilitating meetings, workgroups, etc. with internal and external stakeholders.
