Title: Lead Data Engineer

Job Description: An international company providing operating systems to entrepreneurs through a multitude of platforms is looking for a Lead Data Engineer. Partnered with Google, VRBO and more, they are committed to strengthening systems used by everyday entrepreneurs. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for expanding existing data pipelines and architecting pipelines from scratch. This newly created role is key to the companies' data evolution and growth strategy. Tasks include optimizing data flow and collection across cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field is a plus
  • 5+ years' experience with the following: databases querying, AWS, BI tools
  • Experience with LAMP stack (including MySQL & PHP)
  • Creating and maintaining data and data pipeline architecture
  • Building, training, and maintaining a team

Daily Responsibilities
  • Managerial tasks
  • Assembling large complex data sets
  • Building and re-designing pipeline infrastructure
  • Work across teams to support data infrastructure needs and data related technical issues
  • Collaborating with CTO, CEO, and Lead Developers
