Lead Drupal Developer w/AWS - Onsite from Day 1

If you are not interested but know someone who might be, please feel free to forward this email.Position: Lead Drupal Developer w/AWSLocation: NYC - Onsite from Day 1Duration: 6 Months35 hour work week100% Onsite Project. - Onsite from Day 1Build and enhance Drupal applications hosted on AWS.• Integrate Drupal applications hosted on AWS with Azure AD.• Lead technical teams through SDLC phases of analysis, design, development, unit/integration/performance testing and implementation as per specifications and system design.• Develop/code and/or integrate application modules based on prototypes and design specifications usingstandards and coding principles and patterns.• Apply code optimization techniques for performance.• Use configuration/version management tools and processes to manage parallel development.• Own full life cycle of development for a component of a product or system.• Document, publish and adhere to coding standards and practices.• Review requirement specifications and business process artifacts for proposed solutionimplementations.• Work closely with subject matter experts and development teams in design, development/ integration,testing, implementation, and support of application projects.• Participate in meetings with both technology and business teams to facilitate the understanding,clarification, and implementation of requirements.• Participate in the platform and software testing process, including identification and resolution ofdefects.• Accurately estimate time required to complete development/integrations tasks.• Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.• Contribute to and support roll-out strategies.• Communicate technical aspects of the job to both technical and non-technical audiences.• Prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, effective, professional and engaging.• Provide constructive technical feedback.• Promote a positive attitude towards peers, colleagues, and customers.• Assist in the facilitation of team and client meetings.• Promotes positive tone and high standards of quality within the development team, and serves as amodel to other team members.• Take inputs from supervisor and appropriately apply comments/feedback.• Understand the necessity of project standards and apply them consistently.• Accurately predicts time required to complete development tasks.• Demonstrate the ability to cooperate with a variety of people and achieve results.MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skillswill not be considered.Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product,platform, methodology or skill set that is beyond the requirements addressed in the other laborcategories.c. Preferred Skills/Experience for Consultant Candidates:• BA/BS Degree or equivalent, in a technology related field or other degree preferred.• 1 year exposure to applications hosted in AWS.• 8 years of total experience in object oriented design, development, testing and deployment ofmission critical business applications, at least 7 of which are in a web/client-server environment.• 6+ years of enterprise/solution/application architecture experience in designing medium-to-largescale business solutions and leading/mentoring technical teams.• 7+ years of experience with configuration management, continuous integration, version control,testing and document management with Open Source technology stacks (LAMP, Ruby on Railsetc.) and Open Source tools (GIT/GITHUB, CI, Jira, etc.).• 5 years proven experience with PHP web programming.• 5 years of hands-on, Drupal back-end and front-end development experience in a professionalenvironment.• 2 years of integration with Azure AD and/or multi factor authentication.• Drupal 8 module development experience.• Symfony experience.• Experience working on highly trafficked websites, including performance optimization anddesigning caching strategies.• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms usingdevelopment tools.• Experience in Responsive Design frameworks.• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.• Certified Application Developer is a plus.• Experience in build and integration with RESTful or SOAP-based APIs.• Experience in business intelligence metrics and reports.• Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.• Experience in all phases of SDLC and standard SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall, RUP,Agile/SCRUM to deliver client solutions.• Experience in UML/Rational tools or other design tools.• Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills.• Good communication, presentation and leadership skills.• Team player who can establish excellent working relationships with peers and other teams.• Ability to work on multiple projects as team lead.• Ability to understand business requirements and estimate for delivery commitments.• Utilize application development environments, tools and methodologies across multiple platforms.• Expertise and knowledge of building large-scale information systems.Thanks,Sam CNC Consulting, Inc.
