Req Number 135069Job DescriptionPerforms senior functions relating to coordinating and leading the Electronic Communications Shop for various assignments throughout the Hospital. Partners with leadership to prioritize work, staffing and department needs are met. Coordinates and collaborates with other staff to assure that departmental outcomes are achieved; has specialized knowledge of Nurse Call Systems and is a resource to management and staff.Job Responsibility

Performs senior functions relating to the Communications Shop for various assignments throughout the Hospital.

Leads, guides, and coordinates Communications shop employee job assignments, projects, and needs.

Trains employees as necessary and follows-up on assignments.

Assigns work to department personnel and inspects assignment to ensure proper workmanship and quality outcomes and completion of assignment.

Coordinates and collaborates with various staff and trades to ensure departmental outcomes are achieved.

Assists management to monitor and maintain shop inventory of materials, equipment.

Maintains a safe working environment.

Performs emergency repairs as needed and communicates these repairs appropriately.

Reviews applicable code compliance and ensure projects are within requirements.

Job Qualification

Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

5-7 years of relevant experience, required.

Highly Preferred:

5-7 years low voltage cabling experience highly preferred.

Electricians with low voltage cabling experience preferred.

Open to 3pm - 11pm (Mon - Fri) preferred
