Job Title: Lead Medical TechnologistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Lead Medical Technologist with a NY State Medical Technologist license or Medical Laboratory Science degree. With a minimum of 4 years of experience in a clinical lab, the ideal candidate will be proficient in Hematology Testing, including routine CBC, Platelet Concentrate Quality Control, WBC counting, pH testing of Platelets, and the examination of peripheral blood smears. Additionally, the candidate will perform Microbiology Testing, including procedures to detect aerobic microorganisms in blood. This role requires handling 100-250 samples daily, with responsibilities varying based on business needs. The role is based in Westbury, with a future relocation to Rye, NY by the end of 2025.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Queens, New York.Work EnvironmentThe candidate will work onsite in the QC/Reference Lab in Westbury, part of a team that includes Medical Technologists, a Lead Technologist, and management staff. The role requires working Sunday to Wednesday, 2pm-12am, or an alternative schedule of Sunday to Thursday, 4pm-12am. Candidates must be open to working weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
