Job Description:This individual's focus will be on the overall lab testing and coordination with particular focus on the campus side/ WAN/ branch and required in-depth understanding of simulated lab tests and interoperability with IP appliances The candidate will be a member of a team of elite network engineers and should have extensive knowledge of network technologies on routing and switching protocols and network simulation and testing. He will be leveraged also by other team mates and provide support to their testing and be responsible for product and network operating system version selection/ certificationJob requirements:8+ years of experience required, extensive experience with LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and Certification. This is an sr lead engineering position- Experience with testing design and certification of products in LAB environments- CCNP/ CCIE-level experience.- Strong Knowledge of working with protocols such as OSPF, BGP, QoS, IPSec, PIM- Experience with Cisco Platforms such as Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ ASR- Knowledge of Certification of new code, and bug Scrubs on IOS/ XE/ NXOS/ and limited XR- Experience with Arista Platforms such as 7280, 7504, 7260, 7150, 7800, et al.- Experience developing strategies with multiple vendors- Experienced with creating design documents for each certificsation wich includes engineering guidelines.- Experience with Tools such as IXIA to test and certify various designs, and troubleshoot networks issues- Work under minimal supervsion- Solid network engineering experience- Excellent communications skills a HUGE must- Able to deal with multiple projects- Major/large projects lead - Manage vendor, coordinate testing and evaluate PoCSKILLS REQUIREDMUSTs
• Excellent knowledge of network protocols, eg BGP, OSPF, Spanning-tree protocol, Multicast (!)• Understanding of network protocols, network platforms such as Cisco/Arista to design and troubleshoot new implementation.• Multicast: IGMPv2/3, PIM, Static RP, RP-Anycast• IP Routing Platforms ISR, ASR1K, Catalyst, Arista• Working knowledge on L2 and L3 QoS• IPSec, MACsec• Cisco Switching Catalyst Platform family• Working knowledge of Switching and Switching mechanisms like CEF, TCAM • Cabling and optics 10/ 25G/ 40G/ 50G/ 100G• Cloud networking a big plus• Possess ability to quickly and effectively interpret data.• Possess ability to perform very complex implementations with little or no guidance and/or oversight from manager.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills A HUGE MUST• Must work well in team environment.Desirable skills/ great to have=• Router hardening technologies, DDoS mitigation, routing protocol encryption, SSH implementation, out-of-band network design, 802.1x, NAC,Virtualization industry standard and trends, server technologies a pluswireless• Extensive Knowledge on Timing is a plusExtensive Knowledge Ultra Low Latency is a plus• Understanding of new protocols being deployed intra/ inter Data Center and WAN, eg VXLAN,NFV, SDWAN, SASE• Network tester appliances/ apps like: Ixia, Spirent, iperf• Wireless- ID: #49314868
