Wolters Kluwer Governance, Risk & Compliance division is looking for a Lead Software Test Automation Engineer to join our GRC CT team. The position is 100% remote but expected to work EST time zone.

The Lead Software Test Automation Engineer will lead a cross platform Enterprise QA team creating and executing overall test strategy by utilizing broad knowledge and awareness of test automation approaches, practices and techniques to achieve end-to-end quality. Accountable for overall test strategy and quality delivery of a large digital transformation program, he/she will support multiple enterprise systems and development teams which are aligned to transformation, continuous improvement, and agile delivery. This position is responsible for defining and implementing a test strategy that balances manual and automated testing to increase scrum team productivity, and ensure application quality, health and stability. The ideal applicant will thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the development and testing process. The candidate will seek to continuously define and improve testing processes to enable quality delivery by Scrum teams. This is QA Lead position with hands-on skills working directly with the Agile Scrum teams. Ideal candidate should have experience leading cross platform teams and be very comfortable with change working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and responsibilities
  • Ownership and implementation of Test strategy for multiple enterprise systems (.NET, Azure, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Pega) aligned to industry best practices. Test strategy balances manual and automated testing.
  • Test Engineering COE lead for offshore/nearshore test automation team members and performance testers supporting multiple work streams working in agile scrum model.
  • Ownership of Delivery of Quality software to customers.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure quality, efficiency and effectiveness of QA practices.
  • Enable continuous improvement by review and recommendations for improvement of QA processes and practices
  • Guide the scrum teams to implement test strategy, providing solutions to problems faced by the scrum teams and continuously improving the strategy based on the feedback received from scrum teams.
  • Collaborate with architecture, and software development teams in all aspects of the development lifecycle from early design feedback, functional automation, reliability, stress, performance, integration testing, NFRs testing, through to supporting production issues
  • Work with scrum teams to setup and improve automated testing (E2E, Performance testing, etc) and related best practices
  • Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automation tests into the CI/CD pipelines

Job Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Master's degree or related certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)
  • 7+ years of functional testing and performance testing experience with tools like Selenium (required), Protractor, ReadyAPI, Postman, NeoLoad, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience leading test automation capability in an enterprise setup
  • Proficient in developing E2E test approaches (functional, performance, api testing, Load testing)
  • Proficiency in designing and automating test cases that involve multiple clouds, platforms, and systems
  • Experience leading a team of test Automation engineers and performance test engineers
  • Experience working with databases (RDBMS, SQL Server preferred or NoSQL like Mongo DB)
  • Experience working with DevOps to integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with GIT based source control management systems
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with NFRs tesing
  • Preferred: Experience with manual and automation testing of Salesforce and/or Pega
Skills/Tools:
  • Selenium (Required), Protractor, Postman, Jenkins, Neoload, tools to test across browsers
  • Java / Javascript / C# (Any one)
  • Experience with RDBMS database (SQL Server preferred) or No SQL (Mongo)
  • Azure Cloud (Preferred), AWS, GCP
  • Azure DevOps / Git / GitHub
  • Application Security knowledge

Travel Requirements
  • Domestic travel less than 10% of work time.
