We partner with our Nurses at Frisbie Memorial Hospital!Job Summary and QualificationsDemonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.Promotes customer service initiatives along with the Hospital Service Values.Documents all patient care in Meditech whenever possibleDemonstrates ability to perform technical skills and procedures.Processes and implements orders accurately.Promotes compliances with National Patient Safety Goals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Performs duties in accordance with unit specific standards of care and evidenced by documentation, observation and competencies.Gives direct care in accordance with nursing care plans as developed by RN.Identifies potential nursing problems/changes in patient status, informing appropriate team members.Administers medications in accordance with policies and procedures using eMAR/Scanning as appropriate to area.Follows policies and procedures regarding infection control, safety and standard precautions.Participates or assists in all mandatory in-services and staff meetings.Gathers data to contribute to the Nursing Assessment.EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School GraduateGraduate from an accredited LPN or LVN school of nursing.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:Current New Hampshire LPN license required or appropriate compact licensure.Basic Life Support (BLS)EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:1-2 years’ experience in acute care or rehab nursing required.Working knowledge of medical terminology.Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.Located in the Greater Seacoast region of New Hampshire and Southern Maine, Frisbie Memorial Hospital (https://frisbiehospital.com/) boasts of 112 beds and is a top-notch medical facility.
