Line Cook position Part Time

Bar Americano, a new aperitivo cocktail bar located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is seeking a skilled and experienced line cook to join our team. We specialize in small/share plates inspired by the cuisines of Northern Italy and Spain. Our head chef, is leading an exciting and dynamic team, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about food and dedicated to producing high-quality dishes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anybody looking to learn and grow within the industry whilst working in a new fitted state of the art kitchen.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as a line cook in a restaurant setting

Knowledge of Northern Italian and Spanish cuisine preferred, but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality food

Ability to work well in a team environment

Compensation: Hourly ($21.00 - $26.00)

We are currently offering a part-time position with the following schedule:

Saturday: 3 pm to close

Sunday: 9 am to close

Monday: 1 pm to close

This would be approximately 25-27 hours per week.
