Essential Responsibilities:Review Direct Consumer loan packets to ensure accuracyReview exceptions and correspond directly with Lender(s) and Loan processor(s) to resolveWill have lending authority and underwriting responsibilities for employee consumer loans requestsPerform multiple queue verification within Consumer LOS to ensure all loans are satisfied in a timely and regulatory mannerAssist with reviewing employee Direct Consumer loansAssist Supervisor(s) in daily operations as they pertain to Direct Consumer LendingProvide periodic reports to Supervisor(s)Assist Supervisor(s) with updating procedures as neededAssist Branch representatives and LOS Regional Trainers with Direct Consumer loan and LOS questionsAssist with and absorb additional Direct Consumer Loan related functions resulting from a merger/acquisitionProvide quality service to customers (internal and external), coworkers and managementComply with established operating policies and procedures in order to maintain adequate controls and to support the Bank's adherence to outside regulatory agenciesPerform other related duties as assigned or directedMaintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashionAncillary Duties:Occasional travel throughout branch networkAs an integral member of the Direct Lending Department, this position is responsible to assist the department, as well as the Bank, in achieving their goals QualificationsEducation, Training and Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociates Degree in related field of study or two (2) years' experience in a related field preferredValid drivers' licenseAll applicants must be 18 years of age or olderSkills:Keen attention to detailProficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematical skillsProficient and professional interpersonal relations and communicative skillsAdaptable and flexible with an understanding of changePositive attitude with a level-headed approachCreative thinker, collaborative and team playerDedicated work ethicAble to maintain focus within an open floor plan office setting consisting of simultaneous professional conversationsMust be able to consistently demonstrate the Company's core values; a strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency and humilityExperience: Minimum of four (4) years' experience in related document review, lending or operational position normally required Other Job InformationHours: 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
