Job Requisition: REQ2750 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hours Hiring Range: $23.23-$30.20The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.Responsibilities: Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients. Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of LPN/LVN nursing required. Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.Complexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
