Maintenance Specialist

This position is predominantly based in Brooklyn and Queens and requires being able to work the night-shift.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, janitorial, and sanitation tasks, ensuring that properties are well-maintained, clean, and hygienic.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, garbage areas, and other high-traffic areas.

Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to company guidelines and DSNY regulations.

Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and replenish as needed.

Respond promptly to maintenance and janitorial requests from property managers.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, DSNY and company policies at all times.

Perform special cleaning and sanitation tasks as required, such as deep cleaning.

Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in maintenance, janitorial, or sanitation services preferred.

Not required, but nice to have: Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
