Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Maintenance Technician and take responsibility for repairing and installing production equipment and support systems. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing power drives and pneumatics, performing daily preventative maintenance, and executing maintenance tasks. The candidate will prepare requisitions for materials and parts, create and close work orders, and comply with all safety and GMP regulations. Additionally, the technician will maintain membership and training in the company emergency response team.Hard Skills

PLC experience

Troubleshooting power drives and pneumatics

Preventative maintenance

Maintenance of Ice Cream freezers, filling machines, conveyors, shrink-wraps, boilers, compressors, ammonia refrigeration system

Forklift certification

Valid New York State Driver’s License

Soft Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work a variable schedule

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Akron, New York.Work EnvironmentIndustrial Food Manufacturing Environment with shifts including 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm), 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:30am), and weekend nights (Friday night into Monday morning - 36 hours, paid for 40 hours).
