Managed Care Coordinator

Managed Care Coordinator-

HOURLY RATE $18.00- $19.00

MON-FRI 9AM -5PM

I believe in order to be effective and successful in their role as an Authorization Coordinator the ideal candidate would have the following knowledge/background given the need for this person to hit the ground running.

Knowledge of Medicare coverage and Medicaid coverage strongly preferred (Medicare and CMS guidelines, eMedNY Provider Manuals).

Experience setting up or assigning authorizations for revie strongly preferred.

Proficient in MS Office (including Outlook, Word) required.

Knowledge of HCPCS, CPT codes, ICD 10, HIPPA and PHI preferred.

Attention to detail and ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to accuracy and details.

Coding/billing experience preferred but not required.

Additional programs utilized but prior knowledge is not required (Perceptive Content Image Now, MS Access, Adobe and Altruista Guiding Care, Excel, Teams OneNote).

Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills.

Although we currently work remotely and go to the office quarterly it is not guaranteed that this is a remote work position.
