Oakley offers products and technologies designed to meet the performance needs of the world's best athletes, enabling them to compete at the highest level possible.GENERAL FUNCTIONThis position is the direct operational link between store teams and various business functions including Inventory Control, Supplies Procurement, Compliance and Asset Protection teams. The Manager of Store Operations has a dedicated focus on elevating operational tools, standardization, process improvement, and operational excellence to drive business results. They also manage operational planning and execution for other related business initiatives.     MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage relationships with our retail operations external vendors and supply partners. Oversee store supplies ordering, monitoring supplies budgets, and in partnership with Senior Manager, Retail Ops, ensure that stores have the necessary supplies and tools to execute in-store.

Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to develop and implement best practices and procedures around cycle counting, annual inventory, and inventory movement

Partner with Inventory Control on twice annual physical inventory execution.

Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders and shared service teams to develop and roll-out solutions that meet business needs

Be a change agent for improvements by identifying areas of misalignment and stimulating change.

Provide ongoing feedback to team to identify operational issues and develop solutions to improve productivity- especially in the operational functions.

Lead and manage projects to deliver new or enhanced programs for retail teams including full cycle planning and project management to ensure successful delivery, implementation and enhancements.

Supports the store opening/closing processes for the cross functional teams.

Align run-the-business processes and initiatives with brand business calendar.

Represent the voice of the field/stores by maintaining a working knowledge of store operations and execution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree

5+ years’ experience in retail leadership

4+ years project management experience or equivalent

Strong leadership skills

Strong analytical skills

Strong critical thinking skills

Clear communications, both written and verbal

Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to exercise sound judgment

Ability to keep sensitive business/personnel information confidential

Ability to maintain an enthusiastic attitude

Proficiency of Windows software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious Retail Operations experience supporting an apparel retailer
