Role SummaryPfizer's Rare Disease late-stage Hemophilia pipeline includes three transformative breakthrough medicines: Hemophilia A Gene Therapy (GTx), Hemophilia B GTx, and a subcutaneously delivered monoclonal antibody to treat hemophilia A & B (marstacimab). All these products offer the potential for breakthrough innovations that address today's high burden of treatment.Marstacimab, a monoclonal immunoglobulin that promotes clotting activity by targeting an endogenous anticoagulant protein call tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI), provides a non-factor approach to improve blood coagulation for patients with either Hemophilia A or Hemophilia B. Marstacimab is projected to be among the first subcutaneous therapies to launch in Hemophilia B.Given the transformative nature of these programs and the very competitive nature of the hemophilia marketplace, we need to prepare both the internal Pfizer and external Hemophilia community for great change. Therefore, we must build our capabilities accordingly and execute flawlessly.The Marstacimab Market Development Lead (Director-level) will report to the Global Marstacimab Launch lead and will support marstacimab global cross-functional teams, often collaborating with the Hemophilia Gene Tx cross-functional team. The core responsibility of the role is to build and deploy an innovative global market development plan to support the launch of marstacimab.The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of thriving in quickly changing market conditions, comfort with ambiguity and experience collaborating with key business partners, including local markets.Roles and Respo nsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following, and will evolve with business priorities:

Create and deploy a market development strategy and platform, including a "launch playbook " that can be locally customized for each market.

Ensure coordination of the market development strategy at the regional and local levels and ensure consistency of approach and implementation.

Oversee marstacimab global congress, data, and KOL strategies for execution by HCP and Patient marketing leads.

Prioritize opportunities to positively and appropriately shape market dynamics to support fast marstacimab uptake post-launch , focusing on targeted strategies across stakeholders.

Leads XFT efforts with medical, public affairs, and communication to shape the marstacimab narrative , with support from key external stakeholders.

Determine and lead innovative ways of reaching and educating key stakeholders that maximize engagement in a measurable way.

Develop strategies to deliver on priority goals, including the development of compliant collaboration agreements and/or partnerships.

Define success and KPIs for tracking market development progress.

Lead the annual operating and tactical plan development (subject to change based on business priorities)

Liaise with Pfizer Public Affairs, medical, communications and other cross-functional partners to support marstacimab market development.

Conduct all activities and make decisions that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values, and global and local regulations.

Qualifications

The candidate must be a proven self-starter who is able to address operational complexities and execute in a GLocal environment.

10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, strategy, or new product launch in pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology companies. Less experience required with a more advanced degree.

Strategic cross functional leadership experience including in-market experience and, ideally, above country/regional scope.

Experience interfacing/collaborating with Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs and Regions.

Previous market development experience either at the country, region, or global level.

Prior launch experience strongly preferred.

Experience in Rare Diseases and/or hemophilia a plus but not required.

Excellent leadership and engagement record.

Visionary leader, proven track record of driving change.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving.

BA/BS - degree required. Advance degree preferred.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156,900.00 to $261,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
