Benefits on Day 1!Monday-Friday 1st shift, occasional SaturdaysESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTrim fat and skin from meat using knives or other meat production equipment.

Count and stack on tray portions per customer and company specifications

Label portion with supplied number product labels

Set up cutting room as required

Keep cutting room and surrounding area clean and sanitized.

Follow company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain sanitary conditions

Work standing continually in a refrigerated environment 35°F- 45°F

Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Training : A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Incumbent must have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Finish time is when work is completed and could require overtime with or without notice.Related Experience/Requirements:Kitchen prep experience and some basic knife skills preferred; minimum of 6 months experience as a trimmer preferred. Experience with laser portion machinery or other meat production equipment preferred. One year in production or manufacturing required Or 6 months meat trimming experience.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of meat products, poultry and seafood.Physical Requirements: Frequently lift/carry 10-50 lbs; push/pull; step/climb/balance; kneel; bend/ manipulate products and reach/turn. Occasionally sit and walk.
