Mechanic

We are looking for qualified candidates to join our team. We are a heavy duty truck and trailer collision shop. The major portion of what we do is collision related. We work on all make and models of Semi trucks ,trailers , heavy and medium duty vehicles.

We do a lot of suspension repair and replacement and heavy duty alignments .Cooling systems, electrical repairs

We repair and straighten frames and components.

Heavy Duty experience not necessary, but mechanical back ground is a plus.

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment

- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions

- Repair and replace faulty components, such as brakes, shocks, struts, and belts

- Operate heavy equipment to assist with repairs or maintenance tasks

- Fabricate or modify parts as needed

- Assemble and disassemble machinery or equipment for repair or inspection

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques

- Proficiency in brake repair and alignment procedures

- Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus

- Familiarity with farm machinery is preferred

- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely

- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and find appropriate solutions

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair

- Good communication skills to interact with customers and explain repairs
