Mechanic Assistant

Pallet Services is the largest supplier of 48"x 40" 4-way "A" and "B" grade pallets in the Western New York region. We carry over 50,000 pallets in inventory for just in time deliveries. Quality, on time delivery and competitive pricing has made us the success we are today.

Experience/Education:

MUST HAVE experience repairing and working on tractor trailers

MUST HAVE welding experience

General Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance experience 1+ years

General knowledge of maintenance processes and methods

Job tasks and responsibilities:

· Maintain, repair, and rebuild production machinery and equipment within the budgetary restraints set by Supervisor.

· Perform preventative maintenance on machinery as directed.

· Respond to the operator's requests for assistance on machine troubleshooting and repair.

· Properly fill out related paperwork.

· Knowledge of proper plant startup and shutdown procedures.

· Perform duties in a manner that has safety as a top priority.

· Properly use power tools and equipment with training or certification.

· Keep maintenance shop and all areas of work clean and orderly.

· Follow all company policies

· Performs other tasks as assigned.
