- Assist with all aspects of the network data systems, including the quarterly data submission process for health plan data, the maintenance and development of technical documents, monitoring shared mailboxes, and communicating with external health plans and other internal entities
- Maintain and monitor the public facing look-up tool for functionality, data accuracy, and completeness, and assist with design changes
- Develop and implement improvements in data quality and data intake process solutions to support completeness and accuracy of health plan data
- Assist the unit in the maintenance and development of internal and public-facing digital tools to provide users with transparent healthcare data from various data sources including NYS Medicaid data
- Document operational activities and workflows related to various data systems and processes, and create instructional documents
- Possess strong analytic and technical skills as well as knowledge of programming languages such as SAS and SQL; experience working with health data, managed care, and knowledge of claims data is preferred
- Be able to communicate with and work collaboratively with a wide range of entities of varying technical backgrounds and experiences
- A bachelor’s or higher-level degree in public health, health policy or administration, biostatistics, statistics, or epidemiology is preferred Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of professional experience.
