We are looking for a helpdesk technician to help support our rapidly expanding desktop infrastructure. This individual will be part of a talented team of technicians that demonstrate superb technical competency, providing high-level support and customer service to our firm's end-users.

Description
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or via email
  • Open tickets and follow through to ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner
  • Deep technical understanding of Windows 7 and Windows 10 as well as Microsoft Office 2010-2019
  • Hands on experience with VMWare virtual machines running in a VDI environment
  • Experience deploying desktop PC's using Microsoft's Deployment Toolkit
  • Experience troubleshooting HP desktop PC's, Wyse Zero Clients and Apple mobile devices.
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting using remote tools such as LANDesk
  • Ability to quickly deploy new workstations to end users with unique desktop requirements
  • Experience with package deployment tools such as LANDesk and SCCM
  • Ability to conduct advanced troubleshooting on a wide variety of hardware and software issues
  • Follow-up with end users to ensure satisfaction with issues resolution
  • Develop and document procedures for new application installation and configurations
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Profile
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office computing products, ticketing systems and remote control tools
  • Extensive experience with enterprise computer systems, mobile devices and other technology products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues related to desktop PC's and mobile devices.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
  • BS / BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Experience with Application packaging
  • Financial Services is nice to have!
