Part-Time Mold/Asbestos/Lead Inspector - Environmental Consulting

We are an established environmental consulting company located in the tri-state area, specializing in mold, asbestos, and lead inspections. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a part-time Mold/Asbestos/Lead Inspector in Carmel NY and Danbury, CT areas.

Job Responsibilities:

As an inspector, you will have the opportunity to perform mold, asbestos, lead, and indoor air quality investigations and risk assessments. Your tasks will primarily involve working with both residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. performing in mold, asbestos, lead, and indoor air quality investigations

2. Participating in risk assessments

3. Supporting senior inspectors in data collection and analysis

4. Conducting site visits and sample collection

Desired Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, we require the following qualifications:

0. NYS - mold and asbestos inspector licenses

1. CT - lead and asbestos inspector licenses

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. A strong desire to learn about building science and microbiology

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

4. Background/experience in environmental consulting is plus

Conditions:

The details of the position are as follows:

1. Part-time position with a commitment of 24 hours per week

2. Hourly rate depending on qualifications and experience

3. Payments will be made twice a month through a 1099 tax form

4. Own transportation is necessary as you will be required to travel
