Location: Onsite in Midtown, NYC 10021Duration: Long-term contractAs part of IT Team, the role is to analyze, develop, implement and support Front Office trading system – including interfaces to other systems, the systems’ users and all aspects related to the systems’ operation.Job Description: Main Responsibilities:- Develop business requirements- Development and day-to-day application support- Lead / assist in module testing
Required Skills:- .Net Windows Application Development and production support.- Functional knowledge of Fixed income (Repo, Bonds, Futures a plus)- Perl, Korn Shell (or other scripting / programming languages).- Knowledge of SQL or Sybase backend development- Knowledge of Unix platform- Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills.- Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter.- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.- Must have strong organization skills- ID: #21740464
