Role: .Net Developer

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months+

Job Description

Develop / document / review / validate software and systems requirements; develop technical specifications, including but not limited to data flow diagrams, wire frame designs, and user story definitions.
Develop / integrate, test, deploy, and support web-based systems while utilizing Object Oriented techniques and industry standards / design patterns.
Develop / maintain / enhance system databases and information systems, by defining physical structures, data sets, database objects and reorganizing data bases at appropriate intervals, monitoring database performance, and implementing backup, recovery, and restart procedures.
Responsible for the effective communication of task / project status both verbally and in writing to the team, scrum master, director, executive management, and other stakeholders.
Responsible for the preparation / identification of technical tasks, delivery timelines, and project risks with the project team and scrum master.

Experience in architecting and designing complex and high performance / scalable web applications
Seven (7) years minimum overall professional application development experience. Preference will be given to candidates with significant experience in (a) working in a team environment on large applications; (b) team leadership; (c) can demonstrate their knowledge of object-oriented programming methodology.
At least five (5) years with hands on experience working with .NET Technologies. (i.e. C#, WebForms, MVC, WCF, Web API, Entity Framework 5.0 or greater).
Experience with HTML 5, CSS, the Angular Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, using open frameworks for responsive design (such as Bootstrap).
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Reporting Services, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Team Foundation System.
Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, creating data definitions, SSIS packages and complex database objects.
Experience working with SSL security certificates and data encryption techniques.
MCSD or MCP or MCSE or MCITP: Web Applications and/or Database certified professional
