Job Description

.Net Developer Contract Newport Beach, CA (hybrid schedule) Job Description: Our investment banking partner is seeking an experienced full-stack/ WPF engineer to join their Portfolio Management Application team to provide full-stack software solutions that will enable project managers from the Analytics and Risk compliance teams to make decisions. They rely on lean, agile development practices and are aggressively migrating portfolio applications to the cloud. You will be working with multiple cloud products such as AWS and Client, both back-end (.NET) and/or front-end (WPF). Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other engineering disciplines: EE, Math etc; Master degree preferred.
  • 3+ years (flexible on seniority of role) of technical experience as a full-stack engineer (.NET, C#)
  • 1+ years of expertise with cloud-native tools and technologies such as AWS or Client preferred
  • Proven experience with data technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Oracle SQL) preferred
  • Prior experience with Messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka, MQ) is a big plus
  • Deep understanding of REST services (independent of the application platform)
  • Understanding of designing solution for component reuse
  • Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals (e.g. algorithmic complexity, data structures, design patterns, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience in Asset Management and/or Financial Services is preferred
  • Experience delivering real-time systems at large enterprise scale
