A NYC agency located in Long Island City, NY is looking for an experienced .Net Developer for a 7-month contract.

Please note work will be onsite.

Required Skills: Preferred minimum 5 years of strong hands-on experience in application development in .NET. Strong knowledge and experience in C#,.NET 4.0/4.5, MVC, ADO.net, and Web Services/WebAPIs. Experience with JavaScript front-end frameworks. Strong Knowledge & experience with HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and Bootstrap Strong knowledge and experience developing in Microsoft SQL 2012R2/2016 environment Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS). Experience translating business requirements to technical specifications and database designs. Must have strong database design experience. Experience and comfort providing accurate project and work effort estimates. Ability to work well in a multi-disciplined team environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. Analytical mind with the ability to think outside the box. Proven ability to keep up to date on the latest technology trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop multiple web applications built in .NET of varying degrees of complexity and priorities. Technologies include C#, .NET 4.0/4.5.
  • Develop complex ETL data transformations using SSIS and stored procedures and conduct performance tuning to optimize the system.
  • Work closely with the Technical Lead and the Project Manager to review requirements and provide work effort estimations.
  • Provide regular status and risk updates to the Project Manager and Technical Lead.
  • Resolve all identified security scan issues.
  • Develop and maintain IT architecture diagrams of enterprise, business, data, security, and/or technology architectures for IT solutions, concepts, and strategies to meet business requirements for target audiences
  • Identify and escalate potential as well as actual system problems or design flaw issues to the Project Manager and Technical Lead to prevent serious schedule or system performance impact
