New York, NY 10038 Assignment Title: BIC Integration # of Positions: 1 Functional Job Title: .NET Developer DESIGN Design new workflows for BIC Integration project for the site written in C#, Asp.Net, .NET MVC, .NET CORE, SQL Server 2019. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 8, REST and SOAP Web service, XML, SSRS and Crystal Reports. Design new application submission portal for online form(s) with business rules and workflows. Design new workflows with specific features should be accessible via the mobile channel, but not limited to: Reviewing the case status Review and approve documents Respond to scheduling requests Completing a fillable PDF form and emailing. Submitting a paper form via mail or fax. Filling out an on-line form on the application public portal. Design and build new bi-directional webservices with external portal. Design and build webservices to authenticate internal users via AD, manages permissions. Design and build new workflows, but not limited to: Process online submitted form(s) Supporting calendaring and scheduling for hearing rooms and other activities. Scheduling meetings and video conferences with different parties. Scheduling meetings and video conferences needs to be supported by calendaring functionality. Auto scheduling of cases / Monitoring will be streamlined to remove manual steps. Audio and Video recordings. Document Creation and Management. Dashboard / Reporting Design and build webservices to process datafiles from various external agencies. Design and build new reports. Design and build logic to capture and display error/warning message during hearings. CODING Perform coding as per the requirement using the .NET technology framework class library. Code the application by using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Model View Controller (MVC), Fa ade, Factory, Singleton, Database Access Application Block (DAAB), and Exception Handling Application Block (EHAP). Code the applications using C#, Asp.Net, .NET MVC, .NET CORE, SQL Server 2019. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 8, REST and SOAP Web service, XML, SSRS and Crystal Reports. Create new webservice to communicate and process datafiles from various external agencies. Create new scanning service that's compatible with Edge browser. Create new audio and video recording service that's compatible with Edge browser. TESTING Design and prepare Unit test case and removed the maximum bugs before passing on the application to the QA team. Unit test the code as per the design/requirement. Perform the unit testing for the defined task and deploy in testing environment for sanity, regression, and functionality testing. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered The selected candidate must have a minimum of 4 years' experience as described in "Attachment 2 City Labor Category Description" for Programmer 2 (uploaded on the documents tab). Experience designing, developing, and deploying web-based applications in C#, .NET MVC, .NET CORE, SQL Server. Experience in technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 8. Experience with XML, XSL, JSON, REST, SOAP, WebAPI and/or Web Services Experience developing UI applications with Angular. Provide maintenance for current software applications while developing new solutions. Designing and developing new features and/or migrating existing legacy applications. Work in a team environment to develop, test, and deploy software changes. Familiarity with TFS source code management systems. Expert in SQL Server Mandatory skill set and experience includes C# windows services/multi-threading, C# libraries/APIs, ASP.NET, Restful APIs/web services, WEB API, .Net Core and JavaScript/jQuery Experience in SSRS and Crystal Report. Should be responsible, accountable and work independently Experience with XML, XSL, JSON, SOA, SOAP, WebAPI and/or Web Services DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: - Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered The selected candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts. The candidate should be a team player. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The selected candidate(s) must submit fingerprints and criminal background searches, reports of the record of arrests, and prosecutions maintained by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) to OATH for review and clearance prior to award.
