A leading utility provider located in New York, NY is looking for an ODI Developer for a 6-12 month contract.

Requirements and skills

  • Extensive experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.x and higher, hands-on development experience involving Topology, Configurations, Knowledge modules
  • Strong knowledge of ODI security.
  • Strong knowledge of ODI patching.
  • Expert ability to design and develop ETL Interfaces, Packages, Load plans, user functions, variables and sequences in ODI to support both batch and real-time data integrations
  • Good knowledge in customization and ODI plugin creation.ET
  • Good Understanding of ODI Code Development
  • Good Understanding of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Oracle HCM
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW)
  • Experience with BI Cloud Connector Console (BICCC)
  • Experience with Object Storage and Universal Content Management (UCM)
  • Experience supporting Systems Integration (SIT) and User Acceptance (UAT) testing

Responsibilities

  • Contractor will be part of the Oracle Analytics Cloud/Autonomous Data Warehouse implementation team and will prepare for testing and go-live of new ODI installation. We are using a marketplace installation of ODI to support ETLs from various on premise systems into the new ADW cloud data warehouse.
  • Contractor will work with our Solution Architect and with our Systems Integrator to install, configure, test and support the ODI environment before go live and during Hypercare.
  • Provide technical expertise and direction in developing and supporting system level programs
  • Support ODI during SIT, UAT, and Performance testing in advance of January go-live.
  • Assist Technical Architecture team in planning for cutover.
  • Work with the SI to provide support during the Hypercare period, assist in establishing procedures for agency to take over support at end of Hypercare.
  • Setting up J2EE Agents.
  • Provide insight and guidance on ODI to other TA team members as needed.
