ODM Developer

Hybrid - 3 days on-site from New York, NY

• IBM ODM hands-on experience in rules authoring and rules governance strategy

• ODM Developer with 8+ years' experience in developing applications on ODM Business Rules and ODM Events.
• Experience developing business rule apps, defining vocabulary, and complex rules using decision tables, and other ODM constructs.
• Experience in developing applications using Complex event processing using ODM Events/ODM Insights
• Experience in Design, and development using ODM. And the ability to play an SME role in developing a rule engine with multiple rule apps and rules for banking projects.
• Able to develop the assigned User stories, proactively provide solutions, good analytical skills
• Establishing methodology for capturing business rules, event processing requirements, and agreeing with business users.
• Providing application-level tuning recommendations for optimizing ODM Decision server performance.
• Enabled on IBM's ODM Decision Center product.
• Agile in adapting to a complex environment of frequent releases, and overlapping development cycles whilst maintaining high productivity.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, project team members, supervisors, and employees from other departments.
• Following all prescribed Target processes, standards, and reviews. Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Proficient Java development experience

• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types and understand technical issues.
