Trinity Lutheran Church in Amsterdam, NY is seeking someone who is organized and detail-oriented to provide administrative support to our Pastor and Ministry Teams within our Faith Community. This position is responsible for managing the office, keeping records up to date, managing the church calendar, and providing other clerical assistance. Person must maintain confidentiality at all times.

Important Skills and Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Strong administrative and organizational skills

Proficient with Internet use, Social Media, Windows, and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively

Committed to Christian Values with the ability to adapt to change

Responsibilities:

Compose Weekly Bulletin

Guide and Assist in Publishing the Monthly Newsletter

Answering Phone Calls, Emails, Letters, as well as greeting visitors

Maintaining Accurate Filing of Church Records

Support the Pastor and Church Staff

Other Information:

Part-Time position - typically 20 hours per week

Must pass a background check
