Description We are seeking an Office Coordinator to join our team in the mortgage industry, situated in Rochester, New York. This role involves providing administrative support services to an executive group and coordinating various organizational operations. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Spearhead the generation of reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Oversee the ordering and management of office supplies Coordinate meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared and distributed Produce professional correspondence as required by the team or department Handle special projects as assigned, ensuring completion within deadlines Maintain a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools to aid in administrative tasks Prioritize tasks effectively to manage workload and meet organizational needs Work independently, making informed decisions that benefit the organization Foster a team-oriented environment, facilitating cooperation among staff members Ensure a high level of detail-orientation in all tasks, promoting accuracy and efficiency in work outcomes. Requirements Previous experience in an administrative role within the mortgage industry Proficiency in handling office equipment including printers, fax machines, and photocopiers Strong knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Proven ability to manage and maintain a professional and welcoming office environment Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is a plus.
