Job Description:
  • 84 months of experience troubleshooting Oracle 10g or higher database performance and other related issues; specifically by working with other teams to identify if the issue is at the storage, network, database, or application tier.
  • 84 months of experience working with developers to suggest modifications which could improve the performance of their SQL (e.g., avoiding cartesian products, suggesting indexes, etc).
  • 84 months of experience using RMAN for backup and recovery of Oracle 10g or higher databases. Experience must include using RMAN for recovery.
  • 84 months of experience upgrading and patching Oracle 10g or higher Database software in a Unix-like environment (e.g. AIX, Linux, etc). Experience must include both upgrading and patching an entire RAC cluster with DataGuard.
  • 84 months of experience installing Oracle 10g or higher Database software in a Unix-like environment (e.g. AIX, Linux, etc). Experience must include installing and configuring an entire RAC cluster with DataGuard.
  • 48 months of experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13 or higher.
  • 84 months of experience investigating, gathering diagnostic data for, and reporting to Oracle Support Services any critical database errors.
  • 36 months of experience with Oracle 10g or higher GoldenGate.
  • Oracle 10g or higher Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Detailed Job Description: NYSDOH needs temporary contractual services to support the Early Intervention Program with the New York Early Intervention System (NYEIS) and other EI data systems.This application is used to address the Early Intervention Program’s (EIP’s) functions of child referral and intake, case management, developmental evaluations, service planning, service delivery, service providers’ claiming, service provider’s payment, 3rd party insurance claiming (commercial and Medicaid), state vouchering, provider application and approval, reporting, auditing, and compliance with Federal and State requirements.
