Agency: NYS DOHProject: ELC – Traveler’s HealthDetailed Job Description: The Expert Software Architect will lead computer application development, maintenance and enhancement to support traveler’s health and COVID-19 pandemic response. This position will support regular transmission of traveler's health data to other jurisdictional entities as well as transport of COVID-19 lab reporting data into the cloud. This position will also support additional data transmissions as requested by the Division of Epidemiology for the purpose of sharing traveler’s health information. Further, this position will support the Department of Health cloud architecture and technologies by developing infrastructure scalability designs to aid in the dissemination of traveler’s health data to partners and ensuring systems have high availability and maintain capacity for user access to meet pandemic needs.
