  • 36 Months Experience with designing, coding, deploying Cúram Social Program Management applications
  • 36 Months Experience with development using Rational Rose
  • 24 Months Experience leading a technology team including adhering to system development life cycle industry standards
  • 84 Months Experience with Java programming.
  • 36 Months Experience with developing using Oracle 10g or newer.
  • 36 Months Experience with Version Control Systems, such as Git, SVN, etc
  • 24 Months Experience with managing application servers such as WebSphere or WebLogic.
  • Candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Candidate has certification in Cúram version 4.5 or greater

Detailed Job Description: NYSDOH needs temporary contractual services to support the EarlyIntervention Program with the New York Early Intervention System(NYEIS) and other DOH data systems.This application is used to address the Early Intervention Program’s(EIP’s) functions of child referral and intake, case management,developmental evaluations, service planning, service delivery, serviceproviders’ claiming, service provider’s payment, 3rd party insuranceclaiming (commercial and Medicaid), state vouchering, providerapplication and approval, reporting, auditing, and compliance withFederal and State requirements. This position will primarily support themigration of these functions and data from the legacy Curam system toa non-Curam, vendor supplied replacement system. This will involveextensive analysis of the legacy system, which will require a strongbackground in curam to understand the application and databasearchitecture.There will also be analysis, estimation, and subsequent development ofanother system within the Bureau of EI to address long-term defectsand to imprement enhancements. This secondary system is Javabased, with no Curam.Between these two efforts, we are anticipating 2+ years of work.
