Job Description:
  • 84 months experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML.
  • 84 months experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using the IDE of IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD) that is deployed to Websphere Application Server (WAS).
  • 84 months of IBM DB2 experience working with DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation).
  • 36 months experience with a Government organization, which includes business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of complex systems.
  • 60 months experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
  • 60 months of experience in IBM MQSeries
  • 60 months experience with an organization which includes technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complex systems.
  • 84 months of experience in system analysis and design experience for multi-tiered transactional systems and writing technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems.

Detailed Job Description: This position will be in support of the NYS e-MPIRE Tax Processing System. This system is a large multi-tiered, very complex processing system which is responsible for billions in state revenue. Some of the most complex taxes are processed in this system, as shown below.

The position requires an expert level candidate to develop programs and functionality for the various tax systems being incorporated into the e-MPIRE Tax Processing System.
