Work Model: Hybrid [2 days in office 3 days remote, must be commutable] Base Salary: $80,000 to $140,000 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
  • Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle databases.
  • Comply with ORACLE Licensing rules and requirements.
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle disaster recovery procedures including point in time recovery.
  • Responsible for scheduled maintenance tasks including exports and backups.
  • Ensure database back-up procedures are running properly.
  • Monitor database size and ensure proper server space is available.
  • Assist in the development of a data repository.
  • Keep Oracle databases current with supported versions and periodic updates.
  • Perform minor database tuning.
  • Create workflows/programs to automate business processes.
  • Automate business processes and ensure consistent record processing.
  • Support personnel changes and modify security roles.
  • Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
Education Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science (or relevant field) or 5+ years of related experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience with minimum of 3 years in Oracle.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, query tools (SQL), and analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx development platform or other ETL tools is required.
  • Background in Database Modeling is a plus.
  • Knowledge in VEEVA (Salesforce) or other data loading utilities is a plus.
  • Cognos 11 and MS-SQL knowledge are a plus.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio development using Visual Basic is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Must be a team player and willing to learn.
  • Occasionally, must be available to work evenings and weekends as situations arise.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent technical and project management skills are necessary to support current and future operations.
