- Proficient in SQL tuning to improve application performance.
- Proficient in Oracle database architecture and tuning configurations, log monitoring, trace files monitoring and analysis
- Proficient in configuring and maintaining Oracle database for real time global application with high throughput and low latency.
- Monitor database performance, implement changes and work with System DBA to apply new patches and versions when required
- Help Application Dev team to design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues
- Provide application-level database support to as needed
- Build and configure database systems of high availability and quality depending on application requirements
- Design and implement database in accordance to end user’s information needs and views
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity

- Oracle Database Administrator Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Certification in Oracle database administration a plus
