Role: Oracle/Middleware Consultant

Location: Onsite, Brooklyn, NY

Duration: 12+ Months

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to understanding the existing Oracle objects database packages/procedures, triggers, and indexes.
  • Hands on debugging skills for existing database objects to troubleshoot any production issue(s).
  • Design, development, test, and deployment of database procedures in Oracle 19C and middleware technologies.
  • Developer to create views, functions, and stored procedures. Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
  • Understanding of web service concepts, XML, WSDL
  • Writing the procedures/functions to invoke the external services using Oracle inbuilt utilities.
  • Develop SOA, Web Services, and workflow-based solutions for quick response time.
  • Creating of stored procedure in updating and retrieving DB details from Oracle PL/SQL database.
  • Excellent logical thinking, problem-solving, planning, and execution skills.
  • Strong experience with Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, and Oracle SQL Developer

Preferred Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience
  • Ability to build partnerships with other stakeholders inside of the IT organization.
  • Excellent experience with Oracle development
  • Knowledge of services, WSDL, XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to the IT workforce.
  • Understand the existing code and emerge the code if any code changes are needed.
  • Ability to build partnerships with other stakeholders inside of the IT organization.
  • Experience working in a team environment on large applications; (b) team leadership; (c) can demonstrate their knowledge of object-oriented programming methodology.
  • Working experience with certificates (SSL), Public/private keys.
  • Develop functions within databases to promote convenience and ease of use. Analyze network functioning and adjust protocol depending on the functionality.
  • Strong experience working with Oracle database, WebLogic, UNIX, and other integration technologies.
