Description Our client, a leading alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider in the U.S., is seeking a Case Manager to join their Commercial Department. Reporting directly to the General Counsel and VP of Commercial, this role is vital to managing and administering commercial mediation and arbitration cases.Position Summary: The Case Manager will oversee the administration of commercial disputes submitted for mediation or arbitration, serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the process. This role involves building strong client relationships, ensuring seamless service delivery, and collaborating with internal teams. Additionally, the Case Manager will work to expand relationships within client organizations, with a focus on client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of commercial ADR cases, from submission through resolution.
Apply ADR rules, protocols, and processes to administer cases effectively.
Coordinate timelines, communicate with parties, counsel, mediators, and arbitrators (Neutrals), and track case progress.
Assist with recruiting and vetting Neutrals in the U.S. and internationally.
Support senior management in implementing ADR programs and pursuing new business opportunities.
Prepare business development materials and respond to service inquiries.
Collaborate with the Accounting/Finance team on invoicing and payment management for cases and Neutrals.
Maintain regular communication with clients, Neutrals, and counsel, ensuring excellent client service and case management.
Assist in monitoring payments, invoices, and retainers.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate required.
2-4 years of experience in the legal, litigation, ADR, or judicial sector (Commercial litigation preferred).
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Local candidates from Long Island preferred due to the in-office requirements and training period.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
