The Patient Access Representative (PAR) serves as the face of the organization as they greet patients who visit or otherwise contact the Health Center. The PAR facilitates patient access to information and appointments, ensuring that patients receive the care they need when they need it. The Health Center exists to serve our patients, and the PAR understands this and uses every patient interaction as an opportunity to build patients’ trust in us by being kind, responsive, and helpful as they navigate patients through the complexities of healthcare.Primary responsibilities for the PAR include pre-registration, registration, point-of-service collections, schedule management, telephone and waiting room management, and clear communication with patients, providers, other care team members, and other departments.This position is full-time, Monday – Friday, day shift only.RequirementsThe successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED. Medical office experience is preferred, but may be overlooked in favor of a warm, outgoing personality, demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail, an aptitude for computers and learning new things, and the desire to be a contributing, supportive member of a winning team.Community Health Center of the North Country offers excellent, affordable benefits options to eligible employees.
