Personal Injury Paralegal

Growing lower Manhattan Personal Injury law firm is looking for an experienced paralegal to become a part of our team. Great work environment and unlimited career opportunity.

Candidate must have high-energy, be a self starter, have excellent computer skills, think outside the box and can work in a busy collaborative environment.

Requirements:

2 or more years of general litigation experience required;

Must be well versed in legal research using LexisNexis

Excellent proofreading, spelling and grammar skills;

Must be detail oriented and possess superior organizational skills;

Ability to communicate effectively; and

Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and meet all deadlines.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Prepare correspondence and legal documents;

Draft Bills of Particulars, Respond to discovery demands; draft Summons & Complaints and maintain court calendar

Communicate with clients, counsel, courts etc.
