Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy and a passion for helping patients recover and improve their quality of life. This role involves working with patients with various diagnoses in a outpatient orthopaedic clinic. Wednesday/Friday evenings 3-7pm

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient evaluations.

Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote healing and recovery.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and rehabilitation processes.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical records.

Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and medical terminology.

Skills

Proficient in physical therapy techniques and modalities.

Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physical therapy.

Experience working in various settings such as inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and home community care environments.

Knowledge in orthopaedics, neuro and manual therapy required.

Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.

Pay: $55.00 - $59.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8-10 per week / Additional available
