Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a PIA P& C Specialist I - New Business Operations (Tier II) in Rochester, New York. This role sits within the insurance industry and involves handling new and existing insurance accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. You will be a key point of contact, providing customer service and support to both internal and external clients.Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate Handle customer inquiries, providing timely and relevant responses Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary Initiate new account setup, handling all related documentation Meet department standards for data input speed and accuracy Maintain compliance with all state and federal insurance regulations, keeping all necessary documents and records Provide required documentation to state and federal insurance agencies and our insurance partners Manage the accuracy and integrity of clients' financial and insurance transactions Respond to and initiate calls or emails to clients, insurance partners, and other offices as required by the business unit Research and resolve product and service-related issues from clients and internal and external partners Accurately record all internal and external communications for the setup, service, and maintenance of new or existing insurance accounts Maintain positive and detail-oriented relationships with clients and internal and external partners Use multiple computer software applications and carrier and bureau websites to perform job duties Understand payroll generated reports and charges as they relate to all insurance products/services Understand the Workers' Compensation Payment Service Agreement and ensure new clients are meeting their obligations Participate in product-related projects or training sessions as required. Requirements Proven experience in Customer Service and strong Communication skills are essential. Must possess Data Entry skills and be adept at Documentation processes. Experience in Payroll management and Quality assurance. Familiarity with Database management and Email Correspondence. Ability to handle Inbound and Outbound Calls efficiently. Knowledge of Insurance and Finance sectors is crucial. Must have an understanding of Security protocols and Website management. Capability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as required. Proficiency in Microsoft Access and understanding of Regulation in the industry. Ability to work with Partners and manage Client Relations effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and ability to Prioritize tasks. Ensuring Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Understanding of Agreement drafting and Timeline management. Ability to work with various Business Units and HRIS Systems.
