Plant Operator

Job Title: Plant OperatorOverview: Working with Plant Supervisor on all aspects of ProductionSafety Expectations: The consultant is required to comply with all safety rules and to observe safe work practices and operating procedures at all times. Whenever on Suit-Kote property or job sites, or operating Suit- Kote equipment, consultants and others.Responsibilities/Job Duties:Load and Unload liquid materials into tankers and bulk storage tanksKeep workplace clean and organizedOperate forklift and other equipment when neededRun errands and pick up supplies when neededAbility to follow directionPerforming other duties around the emulsion plant as requiredRecord inventories, run sheets and inspections daily.Operating and maintaining valves, pumps, hand/power tools and cutting grass around the facilityPainting, sweeping, shoveling Working overtime and on weekends when neededWork from heights and in confined spaces (cleaning out bulk storage tanks)Requirements:OSHA 10 Hour Safety CertificatePassing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conductedHigh school diploma or GED is preferredReliable transportation to and from work siteMust be able to lift 50 pounds, read a tape measure and be good in basic mathStrong work ethic, self-starter and the willingness to help out the teamMust have a clean motor-vehicle recordAdditional Duties: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
